Most coaches, and I’d bet most parents at this point, have a smartphone and internet connection as they are on the sidelines. So why not use that to our advantage with some helpful free apps? There are some paid apps that may do better (feel free to comment), but the following ones are ones I’ve found that provide important information, especially when kids health is on the line:
- Red Cross Android First Aid – Organized advice on your Android for treating injuries
- Android Concussion – Guidance for identifying concussion symptoms using your Android
- iOS First Aid – First Aid advice for your iPhone or iPad
- iOS Concussion – Concussion guidance on your iPhone or iPad
There are lots of other roster apps and things like that for soccer. What have you found for soccer coaching help on your smartphone?
